KSR's range of over 200 different magnetic float switches operate using permanent magnet and reed switches. The magnet, which is built into the float, actuates with its magnetic field, through the wall of the guide, one or more reed contacts. This allows voltage-free open, close or changeover functionality, making them ideal for PLC controls.
The switches are manufactured from common materials such as stainless steel, brass, plastics or coatings. Special materials such as titanium, alloys and glass are also available, making the switches suitable for almost every liquid type.
Switches are also available with inbuilt temperature switches for 40 through to 80°C or with a PT100 temperature feeler.
