The forums, which will take place from 17 October to 7 November in Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, attract an average of 500 to 700 attendees in total.

Delegates attending the User Forum in Johannesburg will also be privy to futuristic inventions as presented by students from the top tertiary institutions around the country. Here, finalists in the annual Cyber Junkyard competition put their purpose-built engineering projects to the test in front of the panel of judges. A new addition this year is the inclusion of the Junior Cyber Junkyard competition which is aimed at technical high school learners. As with Cyber Junkyard, the junior competition finalists will also show-off their science and technology projects at the TIA User Forum gala dinner.
