The Octavis VSE vibration monitor from ifm electronic not only detects vibration data but also carries out signal analysis and machine diagnosis directly on the machine. It offers a range of functions for early detection of damage and machine protection. The Octavis is capable of detecting unbalance, monitoring overall vibration and bearing condition, as well as trend analysis with integrated history function and condition counters.
An important aspect of machine monitoring is the permanent machine protection, which avoids costly damage and reduces maintenance costs. Additional process monitoring avoids waste and increases efficiency. Software is available for simple integration into Linux and Windows based PLCs.
With its internal trend memory, the Octavis VSE provides detailed analysis and optimisation of an application without external data recording. The storage intervals are freely selectable. This means that the storage length of the non-volatile ring memory is adjusted to requirement.
