Flexible, programmable function key terminals

The Omron NT2S key terminal, from Yelland Control, features a six-key, programmable keypad and a two-line, 2 x16 character, backlit LCD display. The terminal is powered up via the connection to a PLC, or a separate 10 to 30 V d.c. power supply - depending on the variant best suiting the application. There is 8 KB of memory and two of the variants include a serial port to facilitate PC downloads and printing.

The units feature IP65/Nema 4-12 protection, the recess required to accommodate the casing during mounting measures 28 x 44 x 44 mm and the a front facia measures 109 x 60 mm. Mounting is performed with two rubber clamps. Its programmability makes the terminal well suited to numerous PLC-related applications.
