Bleed design pneumatic filter regulator

May 2012 Pneumatics & Hydraulics

Precision control of air or gas pressure is critical in applications where contaminants and corrosive environments are present. Fairchild’s new modified Model 63 filter regulator traps and drains off contaminants to prevent fluids and particles from impacting the regulator’s performance. The Model 63 modification incorporates a brass and stainless steel directional drain; the directional drain reduces spraying and allows collection of drainage.

Fairchild’s unique Model 63 Filter Regulator is epoxy coated on both interior and exterior and incorporates a 5-micron filter, for use in harsh environments. It is engineered for high performance pressure regulation in tough applications and with its new brass or stainless steel drain components it directionally orients the drainage flow and reduces spray. Benefits include:

* Improved corrosion resistance.

* Compatible with many gases.

* Extremely low consumption.

* High flow capacity.

* Superior particulate removal.

* Safer more efficient drainage.
