Honeywell Process Solutions recently held integrated technology road shows in Durban, Johannesburg, Witbank and Secunda, which included a day of technology focused knowledge sessions in the Honeywell Proces Solution demonstration room.
“Technology is an ever changing process which necessitates technicians and engineers receiving updated information. Honeywell has conducted a series of road shows for customers and potential customers in order for this knowledge exchange to be as current as possible to achieve successful application within the automated solutions industries. Our recent road shows highlighted how optimising migrations and advanced applications increased operator efficiency as well as how wireless technologies could address current challenges,” said Debbie Rae, regional marketing communications leader at Honeywell.
The road shows, which were aimed at consultants, system integrators, engineers, technicians, students and other interested parties included presentations on:
* Wireless control, instrumentation and platforms.
* Integrated industrial control, monitoring, safety and security systems including gas detection.
* Energy and emissions management and advanced solutions.
* Operator effectiveness and operator training.
* Remote operations, cyber security and lifecycle management.
The events also afforded delegates access to Honeywell product experts and discussions pertaining to specific industry challenges, infrastructure implementation or added functionality.
The hands-on technology demonstrations and one-to-one interaction with solution experts provided valuable education and insights and were designed to address the needs of users from the chemical, energy, food and beverage, manufacturing, mining metals and minerals, petrochemicals, power, printing and pulp and paper sectors.
