Mettler Toledo has introduced the Inpro 7100 conductivity sensors suitable for applications in the pulp and paper, chemical and food and beverage industries. The sensor offers a wide measurement range and the fast response time allows quick detection of process changes for better control. The shaft material PEEK, offers high resistivity against aggressive solutions and is particularly suitable in process with frequent CIP/SIP cycles. The InPro 7100 is compatible with a wide range of static (InFit 761) and retractable (InTrac 785/787) housings, giving the user a choice of installation options.
The InPro7100 sensor includes intelligent sensor management (ISM) capability which automatically communicates its sensor type, serial number and all calibration data to the transmitter when it is connected, for error-free ‘Plug and Measure’ startup. The InPro7100 is ATEX and FM compatible, and can be used with the M300 ISM, M400 and M700 transmitters.
The 7100 series can be used in control of digesting and bleaching (pulp and paper), and detection of phase separation (food and beverage) applications.
