The Massachusetts, US-based company, Data Translation, has recently appointed Designs Unique as its new sole distributor for their data acquisition products in South Africa.
As from March 2001, Designs Unique cc has been appointed the South African agency for the complete range of data acquisition products. The range of products on the hardware side includes PCI and USB boards, digital I/O boards and systems with highly noise resistant signal conditioning.
The software products include full-featured data acquisition application packages; VEE Pro, a package suited for measurement/control/data collection and spreadsheet/maths analysis; TestPoint for designing test, measurement and data acquisition applications; and a software connection from all Data Translation data acquisition boards to LabVIEW. Data Translation also supplies a range of free software with each purchased system or board.
Designs Unique offers full professional advice and back-up service for the installation and application of Data Translation's data acquisition products.
