The robust MID volumetric flow sensor from ifm electronic measures the flow of drinking water precisely. For hygienic reasons, requirements for materials in contact with drinking water are stringent; the SM series of volumetric flow sensors is adapted to these conditions and thus approved for use in this application.
The unit displays the volumetric and total flow quantities as well as the temperature of the water. The sensor offers a high protection rating, EPDM seals and is suited for conductive media at 20 μS/cm. Analogue, binary and pulse outputs offer various interface possibilities with adapters available as accessories. Electrical connection is made via a standard M12 connector.
