The new Wago 750-652 Interface Module is configurable as RS485, RS422 or RS232, transmission rates between 300 and 115 200 baud. The 750-652 also enables input and output signal data width selection to 8, 24 or 48 bytes. Configuration is performed using both the Wago-I/O-Check parameterisation tool and GSD files. The interface module also features a large buffer capable of storing 2560 bytes on the input side and 512 bytes on the output side. The large input buffer also allows the I/O module to be used at high baud rates.
The configurable interface module connects devices equipped with RS485, RS422 or RS232 interface to the Wago-I/O-System. This provides connectivity for different devices such as HMI panels, SMI interface modules, RFID scanners, printers or WINSTA sunblind boxes. It also allows the implementation of gateways between fieldbus and serial interface. An extended temperature variant is available for operation from -20 to 60°C.
