Honeywell to provide marine simulation environment

Honeywell has announced its selection by the Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute (KOMERI), to implement the UniSim simulation solution at KOMERI’s new testing and certification centre in Geoje, Korea.
The new centre will be equipped for the development of floating production, storage and offloading units for liquefied natural gas. Honeywell’s UniSim software will provide a series of simulation solutions to improve performance throughout the lifecycle of the centre, allowing KOMERI to create the virtual environments necessary to support the LNG-FPSO training and education services required by Korea’s shipbuilding and off-shore companies.
