Ryan Chetty to chair IIG

Siemens’ Industrial Automation business unit manager for sensors and communications, Ryan Chetty, was recently elected by the Industrial Instrumentation Group (IIG) as chairman for the 2010/2011 term of office. Ryan says that during his tenure the organisation will remain focused on its mission to promote and secure the interests of all members and affiliates of the IIG South Africa.

“Our objective is to stimulate the proficiency of production across all industrial markets,” said Chetty. “To do this we must promote relationships between key government and industry role players and members of the IIG. We also plan to raise the standing of IIG by encouraging all our members to command the confidence and respect of the industry through an attitude of professional conduct at all times.”
