The Vacon 10 Machinery is a compact AC drive for machine makers requiring power in the range from 0,25 to 5,5 kW. The space saving design includes features such as EMC filters, intelligent navigation and a flexible application interface board. The board provides a selection of standard drive interfaces which can be customised to suit specific applications if required.

* RS485/Modbus as standard.

* PI controller as standard.

* Several fieldbus options.

* External +24 V DC powering to maintain power in API board and field buses in case the main supply is disconnected.

* Design service for customised API development.

Local supplier, CHI Control, says it adopts a solution rather than a product-based approach. During the initial analysis phase, all the customer needs are identified. Then, backed by Vacon, it is able to design a customised drive system tailored to match a specific set of user defined requirements.
