A new range of compressed air refrigerated dryers has been introduced in South Africa by Artic Driers. These cost effective units are manufactured in Korea for the international market and comply with the latest international and EU standards.
With 13 models available in air and water cooled versions from 2 to 42 cubic metres/min the HX is designed for continuous use in a variety of environments. All the models use a stainless steel plate to plate heat exchanger incorporated in one space saving unit.
The stainless steel exchanger makes the HX dryer ideal for coastal applications where corrosion often attacks aluminium exchangers. The HX series also uses electro plated cabinets that are powder coated for more corrosion resistance.
Condensate removal is reliably handled by a simple timer drain or an intelligent no-loss capacitance electronic drain that does not waste expensive compressed air. Dryer performance is shown via an operator friendly control panel that has a drain override test button and drain timer adjustment. Using heavy duty components, the HX series provides a cost effective workhorse suitable for all sectors of South African industry.
