The M12-Y distributor with connected cable from Phoenix Contact ensures a higher degree of flexibility for sensor/actuator cabling and allows new approaches when it comes to machine and system cabling. Using this distributor, two adjacent sensors can be routed to the next sensor/actuator box or controller using just one cable – simply and at an affordable price. This eliminates having to use a second sensor/actuator cable and simplifies installation. The M12-Y distributors with their two slots are one of the smallest sensor/actuator boxes available on the market. As a result of the 21 mm fixed spacing, even large custom-assembled M12 connectors can be easily connected.
The distributors have IP67 protection and are available with different cable lengths with open cable ends or with pre-assembled M12 connectors with the Speedcon quick locking system. Additional types, also in shielded versions, are available on request.
