ASStech’s new electronic pressure switch JUMO DELOS is a multitasker with switching contacts, analog output and a brilliant LC display for visualisation of the current process pressure and the condition of the switching contact. The use of stainless steel and flush-mounted measuring systems without seals makes the unit well suited for hygienically sensitive industries such as food, beverage and pharmaceutical.

For the food and beverage industry, in addition to an EHEDG certification, various threaded connections and flanges which are common to the industry can be supplied. Specifically for measurement tasks on hot media and lines, there is a high temperature model which resists temperatures up to 200°C. Units can be supplied with one x PNP or two x PNP transistor switch outputs or one x PNP and an analog output signal. The output signal can be configured by the user depending on requirements; for example 4-20 mA or 0-10 V.

The large, illuminated display not only serves for displaying the pressure, switching condition and function, but also allows simple configuration directly on the device using the set-up program. In the event of an alarm the display colour changes from yellow to red to allow the operator to quickly recognise the operating condition of the system and react immediately.

Measuring range is from 100-600 mbar with SIL 2 authorisation available.
