Smar offers a wide range of field instruments which includes gauge and differential pressure transmitters and non-nuclear density transmitters that are available in 4–20 mA HART, Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus PA.
Allpronix has recently been awarded the Smar agency
Smar’s range of pressure transmitters have a built in PID controller and totaliser to extend the range of measurement applications. It also includes the DT301 non nuclear density transmitter that works on the principal of differential pressure. A temperature sensor located between the pressure sensors compensates for temperature changes in the liquids. The device then calculates the density, which may be expressed in Brix degree, Gay-Lussac degree, Baumé degree, Plato degree, or percentage of concentration.
Smar products are used in the mining, petrochemical, food and beverage pulp and paper industries. The range also includes temperature transmitters, Profibus PA converters, valve positioners and control systems.
