High quality Kobold Pressure Switches - for where high switching accuracy, long term stability and repeatability on pressure monitoring is required - are now available from Instrotech.
Switching ranges extend from -100 to 0 kPa and 0 to 40 MPa. Switching output offers a choice between PNP and NPN and the contacts are programmable NO or NC. The device's accuracy is 0,5% of full scale with a response time of 0,5 s. The instrument can be used in media or ambient temperatures of -20 to +80°C.
The Model PDD uses a piezo-resistive ceramic sensor element. Suitable for OEM applications because of its compact dimensions, the housing is stainless steel and the switches meet IP65 protection standards.
