The Wizlink range of products allows users to have alarms directed to their mobile phones. They offer solutions to multiple applications such as analogue process meters, water meters, counters, analytical equipment, tank levels, generator status, vending machines and electrical distribution circuits, to name a few. The product range covers GSM and radio telemetry options that can be configured to suit application requirements.

 

SMS alarming and control

Automated alarming can be transmitted via SMS and e-mail to multiple recipients. The module can be programmed to automatically transmit in the event of a programmable analogue threshold being reached – or contact closure. It is also possible to send an SMS query to the module, which will in turn reply to the sender’s cellphone with the current status of the inputs. Solid state outputs are available to switch external relays. Outputs can also be switched by sending the module a simple SMS command.

 

Data logging accessible online

Wizlink modules are available with data-logging features. Data is captured and transmitted to a dedicated secure central collection point. A website allows customers to log on with their secure username and password. Data can be viewed in trend and tabular formats which can be downloaded for analysis. All SMS features are available with these models. GPRS technology allows for large amounts of data to be transferred at high speeds – and at cost effective rates. IP65 battery-powered modules are suitable for remote sites where no mains power is available. Solar panels can also be connected to the modules should it be necessary.
