IDC Technologies is proud to host the Engineering Skills Crisis and the Financial Crunch in Southern Africa Conference on 3 and 4 June in Midrand.
With the ongoing skills shortage in South Africa, IDC Technologies is hosting the conference to look at ways of addressing local issues. South Africa’s economy will have to create between 510 000 and 740 000 jobs a year to meet its accelerated and shared growth initiative for the SA (Asgisa) target of halving unemployment by 2014.
IDC Technologies, along with the rest of the engineering industry, is concerned about the ongoing skills shortage in South Africa and invites everyone who is directly affected by the skills shortage in the engineering industry to attend this forum. Listen to speakers including Vaughan Rimbault – (CEO) of SAIMechE, Prof Dirk Dicks – Director EDSU of Vaal University of Technology, Prof Johannes Cronje – Dean of the Faculty, of Cape Peninsula University of Technology and other top businessmen in the industry.
