Banner Engineering introduces EZ-LIGHT audible and segmented indicator lights for operator guidance and indication of equipment status. The rugged indicators feature multicoloured, long-lasting LEDs, deliver a convenient solution for displaying the status of remote and inaccessible sensors and minimise the need for costly and inconvenient bulb replacements. Models consist of a single compact and unobtrusive unit that can replace cumbersome post and stack lights. Additionally, the units are available in multiple low-profile design options for easy installation and are compatible with PLC or other logic-level control outputs.
For applications where sound indication is beneficial, EZ-LIGHT offers two decible levels with steady or pulsed tones.
“EZ-LIGHT audible and segmented indicators simply and clearly convey equipment status in previously challenging, remote or hard-to-access applications,” said Banner product manager, Joe Dolinsky. “Like all EZ-LIGHT models, these lights are completely self-contained and are a neutral grey colour when they are off, preventing ambient light from simulating an active light.”
Audible indicators are rated IP50 and are available in K50L or K80L housing options; segmented indicators are rated IP67 and feature a robust K80L housing. Both EZ-LIGHT audible and segmented indicators deliver PNP (sourcing) or NPN (sinking) input types, various cable options and wiring chambers, depending on model.
Features
* Multicoloured, long-life LEDs.
* Low power consumption.
* Compatible with PLC or other logic-level control outputs.
* Euro-style quick-disconnect.
* IP50 rating for audible models; IP67 rating for segmented models.
Applications
Despite using very little power, EZ-LIGHT audible and segmented indicators provide a highly visible simple solution for a wide variety of manufacturing and inspection sensing applications, including:
