The upgrade of the ECOTROL control valve with a size DN 600is ARCA’s response to the increasing demand for high capacity globe style control valves, especially in anti-surge applications on turbo-compressors. The standard body material is carbon and stainless steel; the standard trim is a pressure balanced perforated plug with maximum flow coefficient Cv 7020 (KVs 6050). With sophisticated optional low-noise cages this valve is a preference on all applications, where low noise emission must be combined with excellent control behaviour.
The modular design of combined pressure reducing and de-superheating valves with steam assisted spray nozzle has been further developed to meet the increased operation pressures and temperatures which are generated by the demand for higher efficiency of modern power plants. In sizes up to DN 400 x DN 800, with a maximum working pressure 130 bar at 590°C and with 500 t/h maximum steam flow ARCA is now able to provide competent and complete solutions on power and heat recovery plants up to 500 MW.
