MEAN WELL has expanded its AC/DC green adaptor line and introduced the GS90 series. The new generation of 90 W adaptors comply with the latest Energy Star regulation (version 2.0), US California Energy Code (CEC level V), and EISA 2007 (Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007) of USA. Possessing very low no load power consumption (<0,5 W) and up to 89% efficiency, the series is energy-saving in both standby and active modes.
Using the standard IEC320-C14 inlet as the input connector, GS90 series are 90~264 V a.c. desktop switchers with built-in active PFC function. The GS90 has also passed the LPS (limited power source) test and acquired global safety/EMC certificates per TUV, UL, CUL, CB, BSMI, CE, FCC, and CCC which ensures safety and reliability in a variety of applications such as consumer electronics, telecommunications, office equipment and industrial devices.
Other features include:
* Class I power (with earth pin).
* Protections: short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature.
