4G Technology announces Anritsu distributorship

4G Technology has expanded its range through an exclusive agreement to distribute Anritsu equipment on the African continent. Anritsu products include wireless, optical, microwave/RF, and digital instruments, as well as operations support systems and solutions for use during R&D, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. Anritsu also provides precision microwave/RF components, optical devices, and high-speed electrical devices for communication products and systems.

The Anritsu product range includes the following:

* The CMA 3000 field tester, which was based on the hugely successful Lite 3000/E is designed for technicians who install, maintain and troubleshoot mobile-access, fixed-access and transmission networks, and switching. The CMA 3000 pinpoints problems faster and makes field visits more efficient.

* The CMA 4500, the next generation in OTDR testing takes fibre installation, maintenance and documentation of the network to the next level. It is the ideal tool for Metro CWDM, ultra-long haul and PON based FTTP deployments.

* The Site Master management tools are designed to accurately locate and identify RF Cable feed-line and antenna system faults. Various models are available and vary in experience level user in commissioning and maintenance of today’s wireless system infrastructures.

* The MS2724B handheld spectrum analyser is designed to conduct highly accurate analysis on the new wave of wireless LAN and cellular signals, including 802.11a, 3G, ultra-wideband, and wireless medical patient monitoring systems. The next generation of Anritsu’s best selling Spectrum Master, the MS2724B is a small and easy to use portable spectrum analyser with unprecedented measurement capability for applications up to 20 GHz.
