Power Electronics distributorship for Ana-Digi Systems
July 2008
News
Ana-Digi Systems has recently secured the exclusive rights to market and distribute the Power Electronics inverter and soft starter range of products in South Africa.
Power Electronics' head office is based in Spain and has more than 20 years of experience in the frequency inverter field. High priority is placed on R&D, quality control and noise immunity. Consequently, over 8% of their yearly turnover is re-invested in R&D projects.
The SD700 inverter range is available from 2,2 kW up to 1,8 MW. These units are available in IP-20 or IP-54 free-standing enclosures with input voltage ranges available from 380–525 V a.c. or 550–690 V a.c. RFI filtering and motor chokes are built-in as standard on all inverters. Larger frame sizes cater for 6, 12 or 18 pulse mains input configurations as per customer requirements for low harmonic and mains interference.
All products are given a quality control guarantee card during different stages of assembly in order to provide hard-copy proof of testing under real loads. Additionally, all PCBs have a conformal coating for extra protection against harsh environments. Power Electronics inverters carry a 3 year factory warranty.
Ana-Digi Systems also distribute Power Electronics' range of soft starters, of which over 100 000 have already been installed internationally.
The V2 Series for 230–400 V a.c. operation are available up to 37 kW, and the V5 Series for 230–525 V a.c. or 690 V a.c. operation are available in all ranges up to 1 MW. Soft starters can be ordered with IP-20 or IP-54 enclosures and carry a 2 year factory warranty.
