The new Cognex, In-Sight Micro Vision Systems are small, smart and easy to use. The units incorporate a complete vision system into a compact package that measures just 30x30x60 mm. Together with the new, intuitive EasyBuilder configuration software and smart VisionView operator interface display, In-Sight Micro is opening up new applications for vision systems. Five models cover a range of price, performance and resolution levels – including a two-mega-pixel option.
The In-Sight Micro is a full vision system the size of a remote-head camera and is ideal for mounting in very tight spaces on robots, production lines and machinery. In addition to small size, the In-Sight Micro provides flexible mounting capability with a unique non-linear calibration tool that enables mounting at angles of up to 45° for hard-to-reach applications.
The system includes the Cognex vision tool library for broad applicability. The new EasyBuilder software makes In-Sight Micro remarkably easy to set-up, a simple point and click approach walks users through the process step by step. EasyBuilder eliminates the need for programming, yet provides the flexibility to customise complex applications when needed.
The VisionView 700 operator interface panel ensures easy monitoring of production processes. VisionView automatically detects any Cognex vision system on the network and simultaneously displays information from up to nine vision systems in a tiled view.
