The portable unit helps guard against mechanical malfunctions
By providing maintenance and process personnel with a pocket size vibration monitor inspection personnel can quickly locate high and low vibration areas in turbines and generators. These are often early indications of underlying problems, allowing maintenance efforts to be focused and improving the cost effectiveness of maintenance routines. This approach to plant monitoring forms the basis of a full predictive maintenance programme, designed to increase overall equipment availability.
