Advantech’s ADAM-4069 and ADAM-5069 are two high power relay output modules for the ADAM-4000 and ADAM-5000 series. The modules are designed for on/off control in high-voltage applications and are equipped with eight output channels.
The ADAM modules feature high power output drive capability
The distinguishing feature of ADAM-4069 and ADAM-5069 is the power relay rating at 240 V a.c. and 5 A. This range can satisfy most requirements for driving externally controlled devices such as lights, fans, alarm systems, and various electronic devices in industrial automation, security, building and home automation applications.
In addition to its power relay output design, ADAM-4069 also supports the Modbus/RTU protocol and ADAM ASCII commands. It also provides four form A channels and four form C channels.
ADAM-5069 provides a jumper setting for output values. This jumper can be set to clear or keep output values when reset. By keeping the last output value, the risk of uncontrolled output signals after accidental power shutdowns is eliminated. To easily identify the module’s status, it has been designed with eight LED indicators. ADAM-5069 provides eight form A channels, and when combined with selected controllers, it will provide the Modbus/RTU protocol for standard communication requirements.
Together with ADAM-6066, Advantech offers high-power on/off control for the ADAM-4000, ADAM-5000, and ADAM-6000 series. Customers now have a solution for high power on/off control, no matter what platform of controllers the system is based on.
