The Type KN 0001 programmable capacitive level switches from IFM Electronic are designed for AC connection in level monitoring applications using dry bulk materials or liquids. Detection is possible even through non-metallic vessels, and remote setting is implemented by simply activating the inductive programming buttons, or remotely by the programming wire.
The level switches are programmable for NO/NC operation, and the programming buttons can be used for all settings, even in inaccessible areas. With an operating voltage from 30-250 V a.c., they are immune to noise and their housings are hermetically sealed. Meeting IP67 protection requirements, the level switches have LEDs to indicate the switching status and various options.
