The National Laboratory Association (NLA) annual T&M conference will take place from 25–27 August, at the Misty Hills conference centre in Muldersdrift.
The organising committee is pleased to advise that this year there will a very strong workshop/tutorial theme. The following areas will be receiving particular attention:
* Accreditation for calibration laboratories.
* Temperature measurements.
* Glassware and volumetric calibration.
* Mass measurement.
* Laboratory safety.
* Measurement uncertainty.
* SPC – the use of control charts.
It also anticipated that there will be a number of mini streams which will be organised, and these will cover such areas as automotive, food and medical.
