Spirax Sarco's SP2 electro-pneumatic smart positioner provides the latest technology in valve control without the need for separate software. By providing an electro-pneumatic interface, the SP2 guarantees fast and accurate control by eliminating hysteresis and differential pressure effects while optimising actuator selection.
User-friendly in design, the SP2 loop-powered device includes many programmable functions through menu driven embedded software. An integral keypad and digital display enables simple customisation of valve performance to suit the application.
The SP2's smart features include auto stroking of the valve, which reduces commissioning costs and eliminates errors. Its digital air control ensures accurate positioning with near zero consumption at set point, which reduces running costs. Datalogging of the valve's performance assists maintenance diagnostics, while the adaptive action helps to compensate for changes in supply air pressure and stem friction.
The rotational indicator and the digital display provide continuous visibility.
