The range of My-Com precision switches by Baumer was developed to perform monitoring and adjustment tasks with the highest demands on accuracy, which allows quick and reliable reference point setting and tolerance monitoring.
In comparison with measuring probes and measuring systems with comparable accuracy, the My-Com is characterised in particular by its extremely compact shape and high reliability. It can be integrated with minimum effort directly in probes or in the tips of gauge micrometers. The precision switch is available in round housings with M8 fine thread in diverse geometries and in a rectangular design. The mechanical spectrum of the My-Com range is completed by special shapes and customer specific solutions. The probe tip is manufactured in durable, high-performance ceramic as a standard feature.
Versions with spherically ground ruby and chrome steel tips are also available for special applications. Applications in very dusty or moist environments are covered by versions with protection class IP67. Only 30grams of activating force are sufficient to operate the switch. The operating temperature range extends from -20°C to +75°C.
