The new sensors from Turck extend the recently announced BIM-UNT product family. The units can detect all magnets in standard pneumatic cylinders safely and without multiple switch points.
The design ensures shock-free and wear-resistant operation
In addition to the standard models with cable exit, Namur versions are available for applications in hazardous areas. M8 and M12 connectors can also be supplied. With a total length of only 28 mm, the BIM-UNT is one of the most compact sensors on the market. The active faces are located at the sensor end and thus enable safe detection of the piston rod to the end position in compact short-stroke cylinders. The vibration-resistant mounting with cable clamp prevents the sensor from lifting when the cable is stressed. A visible LED on the sensor assists adjustment and allows continuous display of the sensor status.
The range is supported by accessories such as: mounting tools for various cylinder configurations and positioning tools for switch-point recovery.
