ISA announces POWID Symposium dates

ISA will host the 51st annual POWID symposium, and, in conjunction with EPRI, the 18th annual joint ISA POWID/EPRI controls and instrumentation conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, 8-13 June 2008.

The conference gives power industry leaders information on the latest innovations in instrumentation, automation, security, and business systems technology. Technical sessions, tutorials, social events, an exhibit, and a group event will be highlights of the conference, to be held at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort.

Conference sessions will focus on power plant control advances, productivity technologies, nuclear power instrumentation and control resources, power plant safety and training, control and information systems security, and turbine control systems. In addition to the informative sessions and paper presentations, ISA training courses, standards committee meetings, and an annual awards luncheon will also be held.
