Microsep has extended its line of Mettler Toledo process analytics products to provide end users and system integrators with liquid analytical measurement solutions to control production processes.
Microsep is the distributor of Mettler Toledo Ingold process control products and has recently acquired the agency for Thornton pure water analytics products. “We are delighted with the acquisition of the Thornton product range as this completes our existing line of Mettler Toledo analytical instrumentation. We are now able to offer a greater scope of both in-line and on-line measurement systems and better process control solutions to analysts in various industries,” says Chris de Jager of Microsep.
Thornton, a leader in pure and ultra-pure industrial water monitoring instrumentation specialises in the measurement of resistivity, conductivity, total organic carbon (TOC), pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen and ozone. Thornton is synonymous with process analytical measurements in the power and steam generation segments. Other markets where Thornton products are frequently used include semiconductor and micro-electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical and biotechnology processing as well as food and beverage production.
With the Thornton business unit, Mettler Toledo offers advanced instrumentation, sensors and service solutions while demonstrating industry leadership in providing technology compliant with industry regulations. Thornton is the leading supplier for pharmaceutical USP/EP/JP compliant technology.
Complementing Thornton’s conductivity technology, is Mettler Toledo’s Ingold product line which specialises in the parameters of in-line pH, DO (dissolved oxygen), conductivity, turbidity and CO2 for process analytics applications in chemical, pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries. The range of high quality products includes sensors, housings, transmitters and cleaning systems.
