12th international CAN Conference takes place in Barcelona
February 2008
News
CAN in Automation (CiA) GmbH stages the 12th international CAN Conference (iCC) on 12 and 13 March 2008 in Barcelona, Spain. The subsidiary of the CAN in Automation (CiA) international users' and manufacturers' group is currently accepting registrations for the event (www.can-cia.org).
The two-day conference is preceded by a day of workshops on 11 March 2008 at the same location. A table-top exhibition with CAN devices and services accompanies visitors on all three days. Visitors of the English-speaking events benefit from the latest CAN know-how presented at the conference. It also presents an opportunity to exchange experiences and to cultivate a network of contacts. CAN experts present their latest research and applications during the event; practice-oriented speeches report about technologies that tie CAN networks into other protocol networks and about implementations of CANopen application profiles.
On 11 March participants of the workshops receive hands-on practical information about CAN in six different workshops. The table-top exhibition presents an opportunity to be shown CAN devices directly from the manufacturer and to receive information about CAN-related services.
The programme in detail is available from CiA's website and may be requested via e-mail from [email protected].
