Wonderware reaches a century

February 2008 News

Wonderware, a business unit of Invensys, has announced a key milestone for its ArchestrA-Certified System Integrator Programme by reaching a total of 100 companies with the addition of Tecnau Transport Division S.r.l. based in Florence, Italy. This marks a significant achievement in the success of Wonderware delivering solutions using its standards-based ArchestrA technology to customers around the world.

The Wonderware system integrator support strategy is a three-tier programme established to help end-user customers identify qualified system integrators to implement projects. Wonderware provides integration companies the means and incentives to invest in Wonderware technologies. The Wonderware system integrator community has more than 3000 independent active companies.

The members of the ArchestrA-Certified System Integrator Programme have demonstrated exceptional technical expertise with Wonderware software solutions, delivered successful projects to customers and earned the backing and support of regional Wonderware distributors.

"We are proud that this elite community has grown to 100 members," said Jay Jeffreys, marketing manager for Wonderware Solution Provider Programmes. "This is testimony to the accelerating adoption of ArchestrA technology in the industrial marketplace in large part due to the hard work of the Wonderware world-class distributors who train and support our system integrators."

"The fact that the 100th ArchestrA system integrator is located in Europe is significant, since over the past year that region has experienced explosive growth in new ArchestrA-certified system integrators and the subsequent increase in user adoption of ArchestrA-based solutions," said Tony Bustamante, director for North and Latin American solution providers with the Wonderware Strategic Sales organisation.

"Wonderware Southern Africa is fortunate to have nearly 10% of the total number of ArchestrA-Certified system integrators worldwide," said Justin Tweedie, MD of Wonderware Southern Africa, a member of the EOH group
