Wonderware Southern Africa presents new system platforms

Wonderware Southern Africa's 2007 summer breakfast road-show displayed Wonderware's System Platform 3.0 and InTouch 10.0 to South Africa's industrial automation and MES professionals. The object-orientated systems support template-based standards that reduce engineering effort and costs.

The new product releases provide a unified and consistent approach to application development and deployment. Fragmented islands of information and automation are now a thing of the past as manufacturing and mining companies can look forward to an integrated process control and MES tool that is also a springboard for connection to their business systems.

"Since the release of our ArchestrA based technologies we have seen great customer adoption," says Justin Tweedie, MD of Wonderware Southern Africa. "With the new features and pricing of the latest releases we expect to see the adoption rate increase."
