Elquip acquires Licatec representation

To meet South Africa's growing demand for automation equipment and accessories, Elquip Solutions has acquired the Licatec agency.
South Africa's recent economic growth and development has seen many local companies seizing the opportunity to expand and institute somewhat overdue conversions to automated systems. This is according to Mike Cronin, owner and managing director of Elquip Solutions, a local importer of quality automation and electrical supplies.
"Further to this, we are very pleased to be able to provide German company Licatec's cable conduit systems, distribution boxes and trunking for control panels and installations. The Licatec agency is the perfect partner to Cemar and Zenardo, another of our key suppliers for the electrical and panel builders' sector that we cater for," says Cronin.
