Kepware is offering its datalogger plug-in for KEPserverEX, its OPC server for slightly more than the cost of a driver's licence. The DataLogger is a plug-in component to KEPserverEX which simplifies installation as well as configuration of an ODBC datalogging project. Users with a database source (DSN) defined prior to launching the DataLogger, can have a logging configuration active in fewer than 10 mouse clicks. DataLogger is ODBC-based and can therefore perform inserts to any database management system (DBMS) for which an ODBC driver exists.
Thousands of customers who have standardised on KEPserverEX for their OPC server and PLC connectivity needs can now seamlessly log any OPC item/tag from KEPserverEX to their favourite ODBC compliant database like Access, SQL, My SQL, Oracle … or any DBMS for which an ODBC driver exists. DataLogger grows with your application needs with its multithread support of concurrent logging process. Users may log tens of thousands of points simultaneously without exceeding DataLoggers' performance capacity. Features include:
