Sustain to run again in 2009

Identifying industry needs on the subject of sustainability was Sustain 2007: the water, energy, earth and air exhibition, which took place at the Sandton Convention Centre from 15 to 17 August 2007.
The exhibition provided a platform for industry to meet and share knowledge and brought together international visitors from countries including the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Angola, Botswana and Swaziland.
"Recognising the country's status in terms of sustainability, our aim was to provide an integrated exhibition to allow businesses to unite with one common goal," said Jo Melville, managing director of Exhibitions for Africa.
"Businesses need to take responsibility for their impact on the environment, and to aid them in this endeavour, Sustain will take place again in 2009," Melville concluded.
