National Instruments opens South African branch office
February 2001
News
To meet the needs of its growing number of international customers, National Instruments, a leader in computer-based and networked measurement and automation, recently opened a branch office in Johannesburg, South Africa. (The company now operates 30 branch offices around the world.)
For the past 10 years, NI has sold its software and hardware solutions in South Africa through a distributor, Westplex. Westplex continues to work with NI, helping customers design, develop and integrate measurement and automation systems using NI products, including LabVIEW software, PXI industrial computers, FieldPoint distributed I/O and other measurement devices.
Engineers and scientists worldwide apply NI products to thousands of different uses in diverse industries such as the consumer electronics, automotive and aerospace industries. NI software and hardware provides a more efficient, affordable way for engineers and scientists to create custom measurement and automation applications.
