The MTL66X range of displays has been extended with the launch of the backlight versions of these existing displays. The display causes a volt drop on the loop of <1 V. This categorises the display connections as simple apparatus connections so that no calculation of the safety parameters of the loop is required and no separate certification of the loop has to be done by the customer. These displays are compatible for use in any 4-20 mA loop powered application. They are all ATEX approved for use in Zone 0, 1 or 2.
