Data monitoring system for domestic applications

The recently launched Afriso-Euro-Index EMS 220 was designed to allow homeowners to remotely monitor their properties. Both switching sensors (gas/smoke alarms, fire alarms, oil and water alarms, window and door contacts) and continuous sensors such as level sensors, low level alarms, and error messages for oil tanks can be connected to EMS 220.

This system can be used in a wide variety of situations. In the case of unwanted events such as floods or burglaries at home or in secluded cottages, the owner immediately receives an SMS text message on his or her cellphone. EMS 220 can be used to assist needy or elderly persons.

The user also can poll the status of certain objects via the cellphone. Measurement intervals, limit values or data transmission intervals which can be set by the user can be changed as required.

The system purports to be easy and quick to install as well as simple to operate. The EMS 220 features four alarm inputs, a sturdy plastic housing for wall mounting and is supplied by 220 V a.c..

Afriso's data server records, documents and visualises all data. Password-protected access to the owner data is possible via the Internet.
