Mintek has announced the following appointments:

Abe Mngomezulu, currently a deputy director-general at the Department of Minerals and Energy has been appointed as CEO. Dr Dave Hulbert has been appointed manager of the Hydrometallurgy division. Alan McKenzie has been appointed manager of the High Temperature Technology division.

Endress+Hauser has announced the appointment of Tony Jacobsen to the position of director – international project business. Jacobsen, currently the managing director of Endress+Hauser South Africa, will take up the appointment in Switzerland from 1 January 2008.

SEW Eurodrive has announced the following appointments: Given Mboweni has joined the company as electronics technician. Peet Meyer has been appointed as sales engineer in the Middelburg area. Logan Pillay has joined SEW Eurodrive as national logistics manager.
