The recently launched Afriso-Euro-Index EMS 442 event reporting system is an ideal solution for industrial and private remote monitoring tasks. The owner defines a list of responsibilities. The system then informs the person in charge by means of SMS or e-mail if certain events occur such as level alarms, reserve messages, error messages or malfunctions of any type.

Early messages enable the persons to take prompt action thereby reducing the risk of unnecessary costs or avoidable dangers.

Afriso Net Webservice (www.afriso-net.com) archives all data and allows the user to visualise, record and manage his or her data. It is also possible to generate reports, trend charts, etc.

The EMS 442 is easy and quick to commission as well as simple to operate. The device features four analogue alarm inputs (4-20 mA), four digital alarm inputs as well as two voltage-free relays which can be used to switch devices on site or control alarms.

The unit is suitable for ambient temperatures from -20°C to +50°C and is powered by 230 V a.c.. Typical applications include monitoring of heating, refrigerating, airconditioning, waste water facilities, food and chemical stores as well as complete systems and processes.
