Fluke, manufacturer of electrical and industrial test tools, is making its body of knowledge available to public and privately owned registered training facilities or educational institutions. Organisations need to apply to become a partner of the Fluke Educational Portal, and once accepted they have free access to Fluke's website information portal.
Available course material includes: basic electrical measurement; electrical measurement safety; electrical measurements on adjustable-speed drives; harmonics; insulation resistance testing; maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC/R systems; power quality; process instrument calibration and maintenance.
As an added incentive, Comtest is offering additional discounts on all Fluke equipment bought by these educational institutions. Comtest's marketing director, Val Verwer says: "There is a wealth of information available to the technical student and Fluke is very keen to share this information with the various training facilities. We believe that this will positively impact those students coming into our industry."
