Schneider sponsors SAIMC education initiative

Schneider Electric South Africa has provided an education sponsorship to the South African Institute of Measurement and Control (SAIMC). For several years Schneider has provided this education sponsorship to SAIMC. Paulo da Silva, chairman of the Johannesburg branch of the SAIMC says: "We would like to thank Schneider Electric for its continued support of our education initiatives. We use the money to sponsor the top performing students in the field of Electrical Engineering - Instrumentation & Control from University of Pretoria, Tshwane University of Technology, University of Johannesburg, and Vaal University of Technology."

These students are awarded a cash prize, an engraved medal and free SAIMC membership for one year.
