The Adam-4069 and Adam-5069 are two high power relay output modules in Advantech's Adam series. They are designed for on/off control in high load applications and have eight output channels rated for 5 A at 240 V a.c. This means that they can used for driving externally controlled devices such as lights, fans, alarm systems, and various electronic devices in industrial automation, security, building and home automation applications.
The Adam-4069 provides four form A channels and four form C channels and supports the Modbus RTU protocol and Adam ASCII command set.
The Adam-5069 provides a jumper for setting the reset state for output values. This jumper can be set to clear or retain output values when reset. By keeping the last output value the risk of uncontrolled output signal status after accidental power shutdowns is eliminated. To easily identify the module's status each output channel has an LED indicator. This module provides eight form A channels, and when combined with selected controllers, it will support the Modbus RTU communication protocol.
Together with the Adam-6066 which is equipped with six isolated digital input channels and six power relay outputs, Advantech offers high-power on/off control for the Adam-4000, 5000 and 6000 series.
