Baumer Electric has designed and developed the intelligent, fieldbus compatible positioning drives, Flexidrive, which are now also available with hollow shaft and through-hollow shaft. This allows integrating the drives even faster, and more conveniently, into the application.
Since no coupling is required for hollow-shaft mounting, wear and tear on parts is reduced, while reliability and availability of the whole machine is increased.
The worm gears used lead to a short axial mounting depth, and offer maximum flexibility for the choice of the drive location.
The modular Flexidrive system combines numerous types of motors and gears with wear-free, absolute multiturn position measurement, regulators, power electronics and fieldbus interface, and offers a high degree of economy by reducing setting and adjustment times, without time and cost consuming homing procedures.
